Baby Dedication

Why we dedicate children
In our day little children are brought to ministers (who are representatives of the Lord) to receive them, pray for the protecting hand of God to be upon them, and bless them in an act of  dedication. The dedication is unto the Lord, to the end that He may keep them and bless them all the days of their lives. Parents who bring their children for dedication, by the very act, signify their faith in the Christian way of life. They also indicate the desire that their children should grow up to know the Lord and live according to His will. The act of dedication does not automatically make your child a Christian, instead it is a point of beginning in which parents, having committed the child to God for His care in matters beyond human wisdom and understanding, enter into partnership with the church to teach them early to fear the Lord; to direct their minds to the Word of God; their feet to the church & their hearts to Christ as their Savior to bring them up in the nurture & admonition of the Lord.
We have Baby Dedications on the 3rd Sunday of March, June, September & December
